Assessors Course

The Assessors Course is an ETDP Seta accredited course based on a unit standard at NQF Level 5. The course accrues a total of 15 credits.

The course imparts the learner with knowledge, skills and attitudes to conduct outcomes based assessments of learning and training interventions. The course further provides formal recognition or Assessors. The formal recognition afforded Assessors through acquisition of the Assessors Course is the basis upon which registration and accreditation is granted across all Education and Training Quality Authorities (ETQAs) viz SETAs.

Emotional Intelligence Course

Emotional Intelligence is a unit standard based, credit bearing course at NQF Level 5. It accrues 8 credits. The aim of the course is to enable learners to analyse the role of emotional intelligence in leadership.

The objectives of the course are to enable learners to:

Skills Development Facilitators Course

The Skills Development Facilitator Course comprises 6 Unit Standards as follows.

  • Conduct skills development administration in organization (SDF)
  • Advise on the establishment and implementation of a quality management system for skills development practices in an organization (SDF)
  • Coordinate planned education, training and development in an organization (SDF)
  • Develop an organizational training and development plan (SDF)
  • Provide information and advice regarding skills development and related issues (SDF)
  • Conduct an analysis to determine outcomes of learning for skills development and other purposes (SDF)

The Course is for Skills Development Facilitators, Training Managers, Training Officers, Training Administrators and any person working or planning to go into training and development. We run the course as a public course as well as an in-house course within client organizations

Moderators Course

The Moderators Course is a credit bearing course at NQF Level 6, with 10 credits. The course is for people who conduct internal or external moderation of outcomes-based assessments. The assessments could be in terms of outcomes defined in a number of documents, including but not limited to unit standards, exit level outcomes, assessment standards, curriculum statements and qualifications. This course will contribute towards the achievement of a variety of qualifications particularly within the field of Education Training and Development Practices and Human Resource Development.

Those who are found competent on this course will be able to moderate assessments in terms of the relevant outcome statements and quality assurance requirements.

Monitoring and Evaluation Course

The Monitoring and Evaluation course is a unit standard based course at NQF Level 5. It accrues 5 credits. The course enables the learner to demonstrate knowledge and insight into the principals of monitoring and evaluation in assessing organizations and programme performance in a specific context.
